De La Rue is a multi national corporation, contracted to print currency for the Bank of England. Their facility at Debden in Essex is scheduled to undergo major restructuring of process over the next five years, anticipating the move to the replacement of paper with polymer banknotes.
Be Creative were briefed initially to produce a large format infographic, illustrating the journey to the future factory. All elements, including London landmarks and £50 note paper planes were rendered in isometric vector style.
We were subsequently asked to envisage the interior of the redeveloped factory – the illustration produced is based on scant photographic reference due to high security.
